Question 2 of 13

๐Ÿงช GUT-DRIVEN ROOT CAUSES (Non-Negotiable: Gut)

Did you know these 5 things?

1) Your gut isn’t just for digestion —it’s a major control center for your immune system, inflammation levels, and even nutrient absorption required to grow strong, healthy hair.

2) When your gut is inflamed, leaky, or overrun by pathogens (like candida or H. pylori), the nutrients your follicles need can’t reach them.

3) At the same time substances your body doesn’t recognize yet, can “leak” into the bloodstream, triggering inflammation that disrupts your hormones and immune balance. This often confuses the body and can lead to autoimmune conditions.

4) Most importantly low stomach acid (extremely common especially when acid reflux is present) will lead to defects in calcium synthesis which can lead to calcium deposits on your scalp causing hair miniaturization!

5) Low stomach acid also leads to low iron & low b12!

Question 3 of 13

PHASE 2: POOR CIRCULATION (Blood + Lymph)

How many of these symptoms have shown up consistently in the past 60 days?

The more of these you have, the more likely it's a REAL ROOT CAUSE for you.

1.  Easy bruising or slow wound healing

2.  Puffy face or eyes (especially upon waking)

3.  Body feels heavy or swollen (especially around the abdomen or legs)

4.  Visible pillow lines or facial puffiness

5.  Hair thinning mainly at the temple and/or the nape (bottom back of scalp above the neck)

6.  Diffuse thinning all over

7.  Abnormal hair shedding

8.  Do you have arm “puffs” (meaning your arm "pits" do not look sunken in)

9.  Do you sweat less than 3 times per week (including exercise/movement, or sauna use)?

In order to "detox" the toxins have to get pooped out, urinated, breathed out, secreted in mucus or sweated out. This is one way lymph gets congested.

Question 4 of 13

 ๐Ÿฉธ POOR CIRCULATION (Non-Negotiable: Drainage & Movement)

Did you know these 5 things?

1) Hair can only grow if blood can reach the follicle — your blood only flows well when your lymph and detox systems are also moving.

2) Poor circulation (whether from  lack of movement or sweating, viscous sugar-rich blood, deoxygenated blood, or lymph backup) means that both nutrients and oxygen are restricted from reaching your scalp.

3) It also means waste and toxins aren’t leaving the body efficiently, keeping you inflamed and “clogged” from the inside out. Over time, this can create a visibly puffy face, cold extremities, and an inability for your body to remove scalp deposits.

4) If your blood and lymph aren’t moving, your hair growth likely isn’t either. The blood is the healer! That’s why diabetics get amputations / their blood becomes thick and unable to flow well to extremities like toes. Without the life-giving blood, bacteria come to the scene to clean up dead tissues with an infection, and before you know it, the infectious and dead tissue must be cut off so the bacteria doesn’t spread.

5) You can divert blood flow away from your extremities (such as hair) just from eating a toxic meal that causes a stress response as well. How many of us are eating this way multiple times a day?

Yes all of it

Question 7 of 13

๐Ÿ”ฅ INFLAMMATION (Non-Negotiable: Immune Function)

Did you know these 5 things?

1) Chronic inflammation is one of the most overlooked triggers of hair loss — and it doesn’t always show up in your labs.

2) Inflammation can come from hidden allergens (like dust, mold, or pet dander), high-histamine foods, or immune confusion triggered by leaky gut and stress. This creates a loop where your immune system becomes hyperreactive — attacking your own tissues (autoimmunity), including hair follicles and creating hormonal imbalance.

3) Redness, swelling, pain, burning, or visible shedding can all be signs that your body is inflamed, not broken. Healing requires calming the immune system, not just treating the hair.

4) The process of inflammation requires a lot of oxygen as well, which means by default, there will be less oxygen left for your hair, which is non-essential tissue. When your body is overwhelmed with toxins/toxicants and it’s inflamed, it’s not uncommon for the body to dump hair in an effort to dump more heavy metals.

5) What should come next is new hair growth, which will pull more heavy metals from the blood into the hair (as a secondary mechanism for detoxification). But, in follicles that are now calcified or covered with fibrosis, regrowth becomes impossible until the body can remove the debris that is blocking the blood and nutrients from reaching the follicle.

Question 9 of 13

๐Ÿฌ BLOOD SUGAR DYSREGULATION (Non-Negotiable: Food)

Did you know these 5 things?

1) Hair is a luxury tissue — your body will only prioritize it when blood sugar is stable and stress hormones are low. Many women are unknowingly riding a blood sugar roller coaster caused by hidden sugars, lack of protein, and hormone-disrupting foods.

2) This constant spike-and-crash effect raises cortisol, triggers inflammation, robs your cells of energy, and increases shedding. If you regularly feel shaky, anxious, or exhausted between meals (especially in the afternoon), your body is likely too stressed to grow hair.

3) If you regularly stay up late and ignore your body when it starts to feel tired, you are actually increasing cortisol in that moment for that second wind of energy which raises your blood sugar (and affects your sleep cycle).

4) This can affect your ability to detox that night, which can affect how much cortisol you’re able to put out in the morning when you need it.This can lead to lower blood sugar.

5) The misuse of cortisol can lead to chronic inflammation (and hormonal imbalance) because of the role it plays in immune suppression and lowering stomach acid.

1. You are awake between 2–4am

2. Bright lights (such as phones) give you energy at night

3. You do not sleep with your head on an incline at night

4. You struggle to fall asleep due to a racing mind

5. You feel wired at night and/or tired during the day

6. You consistently get less than 7 hours of restful sleep per night

7. You suffer from snoring, mouth breathing, or sinus congestion at night or by morning

8. Feel a “second wind” of energy before you go to bed

Question 11 of 13

๐Ÿ’ค SLEEP & HORMONAL RHYTHMS (Non-Negotiable: Sleep)

Did you know these 5 things?

1) Hair growth is tightly tied to your circadian rhythm — which means your sleep patterns literally instruct your hormones when and how to heal. When you don’t sleep deeply or consistently, your cortisol rhythm shifts, melatonin drops, and your body’s nightly repair cycle gets disrupted.

2) Melatonin is a protective hormone that can even protect you from some types of cancer. This leads to a cascade of issues: hormone imbalances, poor detox, weak immunity, and increased inflammation — all of which drive hair thinning.

3) If you’re waking up between 2–4 am or relying on caffeine just to function, your sleep may be sabotaging your ability to recover. Healing your rhythm is often the most underestimated step in reversing hair loss.

4) What’s most overlooked is the quality of the air you’re breathing in while you’re sleeping. There are so many of us that are breathing in pet dander or mold or dust that was created from synthetic materials all night long! And this is leading to intoxication versus detoxification while we’re sleeping further compromising hair growth!

5) While we’re sleeping the glial cells in the brain should shrink by 60% so that we can clear out the lymph in the glymphatic system. If this fails to happen, we can become more susceptible to lymphatic congestion around our cranial area, which can affect how much blood flows to your hair.
